In Ponti sul Mincio, a town between the wonderful Morainic hills ("Colline Moreniche"), is located the Bed & Breakfast "Aldo". It has big and comfortable rooms, with bathrooms and finely fully furnished, complete air condition. It is also complete of a tidy and large garden with swimming pool and a games area for the children. The international breakfast also includes local specialties and a kind service. There is the possibility to have breakfast on the balcony on summer. Private car parking and free wi-fi. Even though we are animal lovers, our facility is not equipped to accommodate them.

BED & BREAKFAST "ALDO" is Ponti sul Mincio, the first medieval village of Mantua, a land rich green plains and atmospheres of rare beauty, to go and enjoy walking or cycling, using the numerous roads and tracks scattered in the surrounding countryside or cycling along the banks of the river Mincio, linking the nearby Lake Garda to the city of Mantova. One of the longest cycling in Europe is leading from Peschiera del Garda Mantova through Ponti Sul Mincio, along a continuous path of about 40 km where you can live in contact with the natural spectacle of an area substantially clear and uncontaminated.

A few minutes from BED & BREAKFAST "Aldo" are the beautiful resorts on Lake Garda, starting from Peschiera del Garda, continuing on the eastern shore of the lake to Lazise, Bardolino, Torri del Benaco, on the western shore and to Sirmione Desenzano, Salò. A few minutes drive from our place of hospitality are also amusement parks like Gardaland and Movieland, family, nature parks as the Garden Sigurtà. A few kilometers away are the historic villages of Borghetto and Castellaro Lagusello recently included by experts among the most beautiful towns in Italy. In thirty minutes drive are then easily reached the art cities of Mantua and Verona.

The magic of the morainic hills of Verona

BED & BREAKFAST "ALDO" is nestled in the beautiful scenery of the morainic amphitheater, with its inimitable landscapes bordered on the north by Lake Garda, south of the city of Mantua, to the west and east from Verona to Brescia. The moraine area, crossed by the River Mincio from Tione and churches, is characterized by rolling hills arranged in a circle, born thousands of years ago by melting glaciers and sviluppattesi centuries with the incessant flow of our rivers. This is an area rich in water, temperate, influenced by the proximity of Lake Garda. Present vegetation along the Alpine and Mediterranean, characterized by the presence of vines, olive trees, almond trees and cypresses. The field labor is still more to this activity among the morainic hills and intensely cultivated land next to national parks which are the Mincio Park and reserve Castellaro Lagusello. Peasant life, typical products, myths and legends, festivals fairs and festivals, folk history to make a moraine belt area of great tradition and culture. Among the hills of Castiglione Stiviere, Solferino and San Martino della Battaglia, Cavriana Pozzolengo, Ponti Sul Mincio Monzambano Valeggio Sul Mincio. San Martino della Battaglia are the historical museum and the church-charnel house, where lie the remains of 2,619 soldiers without a name, and especially the imposing and spectacular battle Tower, opened in 1893 in memory of the deeds of the patriots of Italy united. Cavriana, former summer residence of the Gonzaga, is a small peaceful village in the middle of crown hill, closing the southern part of Lake Garda. Pozzolengo, a few miles away, is considered the gateway to the morainic hills of Lake Garda. It is part of Monzambano, thriving country behind the Mincio, apparent distance to the medieval castle still in excellent condition, the fortified town of Castellaro Lagusello, which is reflected in a small glacial lake in the shape of heart. A Valeggio Sul Mincio, land border between the Veneto and Lombardy, in addition to the castle and the park Sigurtà, I recommend a stop at Borghetto, a small group of houses surrounded by small waterfalls and the Mincio Bridge Visconti. Finally, it is recommended to walk or bike the many country roads of the beautiful country of Ponti Sul Mincio, home of the B & B "ALDO". And 'by Ponti Sul Mincio beginning real moraine landscape between the Mincio river and streams which distinguish a landscape without equal.
